There are two types of victim advocates. Some advocates work in prosecutors' offices to help victims navigate the criminal justice process. Other community-based domestic violence and sexual assault advocates, such as NTAG©, provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services such as a 24-hour helpline, legal advocacy, support groups, counseling and emergency transportation services. NTAG©'s team of advocates recognize that all crime victims experience loss no matter the type of crime perpetrated.
