NTAG© is a 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is incorporated as a not for profit public organization in and for the State of Texas; which continually promotes effective law enforcement, court system and public safety programs.
NTAG© works towards rightful representation and advocacy within the criminal justice process, and provide victims with a sense of hope, encouragement, and security as they wait for justice to be served. Working throughout North Texas communities and servicing eight (8) specific areas of function, our investigative focus is on violence within domestic relationships, children and our elderly community, balancing the impact to survivors while utilizing victim assistance resources with our local partners. Our CVD (Crime Victims Division) team is a unique partnership between the VSTU Traning Unit, the Special Victims Unit and the Relations Unit, as well as other NTAG© team members.
Internal partnerships is central to the advocacy efforts of NTAG©. Espeically when it comes to assisting survivors of domestic violence, elder crimes, and crimes against vulnerable adults. Having NTAG© team members who are certified and commissioned law enforcement officers and court system attorneys increases the resources for victims, as well as helps advocate and address the barriers victims may face when negotiating their way through abuse situations.
NTAG© is committed to serving and respecting the rights of crime victims as detailed in the Victims' Bill of Rights. NTAG© offers a variety of services to ensure that these rights are upheld by providing comprehensive training designed to educate organizations on the up-to-date State of Texas crime victims' laws and best practices that are being used for protecting crime victims' rights throughout North Texas communities.
