We support our local Law Enforcement agencies
Law Enforcement-Based Victim Services to uphold rights, develop programs, improve service and remain integrity.

Victim-centered responses and services are indeed crucial for the safety, stability, and healing of crime victims throughout North Texas. NTAG© approaches prioritized well-being and the needs of North Texas victims, aiming to support their recovery, reduce the likelihood of re-victimization, and prevent future crimes.

NTAG© Investigators strive to establish timely communication with law enforcement agencies to ensure victims of crime are connected promptly following incidents of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crime victim related matters, as often times law enforcement agencies are often the first responder to a complaint. As a result, NTAG© employs a team to support all law enforcement agencies througout North Texas, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week.

Additionally, we support the following:

Dedicated to the Rights of Victims

NTAG© is dedicated to providing support to programs, alongside the agencies within our North Texas communities, to enforce civil rights, but we are also well aware that enforcement efforts - which are critical tools in combating barriers, ensuring compliance, and advancing reform - are most effective when paired with robust outreach, respect and understanding of the victims we serve. Therefore, we ensure that all NTAG© Investigators are trauma-informed.

The key role of our NTAG© Investigators is to help victims understand and navigate the investigation criminal process, as a whole, and the rights and services they are entitled under the Texas Crime Victims Bill of Rights. Additionally, the NTAG© Investigators helps the victim understand the different roles of the various professionals for whom they may come into contact with — including any limitations on those professionals ability to keep the victims information private, privleged or confidential. This method helps give more clarity of communication between law enforcement agencies, the NTAG© Investigator, and the victim.
